What is constitutional balancing?

The focus of constitutional therapy is the balancing and strengthening of an individual’s base constitution. Constitutional therapy focuses on the wholeness of individuals, and is the core of traditional medical systems (e.g. Traditional European Medicine, Traditional Chinese Medicine, Ayurveda).

Your constitution is your individual ‘type’ or character. It relates to the way your body is built, your base levels of energy, how you treat the heat and the cold, what types of foods you tend to gravitate to, what types of moods you may experience frequently and how your body reacts to dis-ease.

Constitutional therapy supports your system in activating its self-healing abilities, and at the same time educates you about how you can take ownership of your health preventatively so that you can feel more confident about staying healthy. You will learn how to prepare nutritional meals for your own constitution, and which types of exercise and sleep rhythms tend to be beneficial for your character.

How do I find out my constitution?

You can find out your constitution in several ways. One is through filling in questionnaires, another is through analysing several reflex zones on your body. Another way is through your astrological birth chart, which acts as both a microscope and telescope into your being.

Upon booking any sessions with me, I will send you a questionnaire. Based on your answers and some additional checks during our consultation, we will be able to deduce what your individual type is. Knowing and living according to your type is an empowering approach to taking holistic and preventative health and care into your own hands.
